Foster's 2021 Candidate's Questionnaire¹
What do you see as the top three issues facing the district, and how can the board address them?
1. COVID-19. I feel the board is doing the best they can do to keep the students in school.
2. Discipline. The board will have to take a look at the procedures in place now, and see what can be improved.
3. Staff shortage. The board will have to address this issue and brainstorm ideas to keep our staff intact.
How, if at all, would you work to strengthen the district’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts?
It’s essential to understand the demographics of our district, both students and staff.
How, if at all, would you work to strengthen the district’s mental health and wellness efforts for students?
To educate staff, parents and students on symptoms of, and help for mental health problems. Teach and reinforce positive behaviors and their decision-making, and ensure a positive and safe school environment.
