"What would be your top three priorities if you are elected?" ²
(Editor's Note: These responses are from the Foster's 2021 Candidate's Survey)
1. Improving public safety and congestion on Route 11. This is the perfect area to promote growth, but for safety we must explore the building of the “Loop Road” or at the least a frontage road to limit the curb cuts on the dangerous stretches. We also must work with the State to expand Rt. 11 and add traffic lights.
2. Developing the downtown into a more vibrant area with increased affordable housing in the upper floors and commercial on the first floor. Additionally working with all stakeholders on solutions to the parking situation in the Downtown.
3. Public safety with good old fashion foot patrols in the downtown and certain neighborhoods should increase visibility and discourage crime. If elected I will look forward to working with the new Police Commission and will encourage them to incorporate these patrols
Current Committee Assignments
